Jesus loves you so much that He died for you

Welcome

Welcome, and thank you for visiting St. Stephen Charismatic Episcopal Church online. Our goal here is to help you understand the Christian faith - who God is, and how much He loves you - and who we are. Our website highlights the variety of worship, service, and fellowship opportunities we offer. Read on, and please feel free to contact us for more information or come in for a visit. We would love to greet you and share with you our love for Jesus Christ and for you, our neighbor.

"The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:29-31)

Our Mission

Jesus Christ is the foundation for all we do. Our mission is given by Him, to “Go ... make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

Twenty centuries have separated the Church into three streams: the sacramental (Catholic/Orthodox), the evangelical (Protestant), and the charismatic (Pentecostal). The Holy Spirit is bringing these streams back together, that the Church may speak with one voice again. "There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High." (Psalm 46:4)

Our Prayer

We pray for you as we pray for ourselves:

"that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may live lives worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light." (Colossians 1:9b-12)

I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.”  (John 17:15)
